Make the most of our community facilities!
Naka Ward has many convenient facilities that are open to all. Please read this guide and see if you can find something you might enjoy!

Community centers [4,5,6]
Community centers have rooms which can be borrowed for a variety of purposes, including meeting rooms, Japanese-style rooms, art and craft rooms, kitchens, etc., and which are used to host many different popular courses and events.

Community houses [9,14,15,16,17,18]
Community houses have rooms which can be borrowed for club activities and small libraries where people can borrow books, and are also used to host courses and events.
If you are looking to take up something new, you are sure to find a hint here

Community care plazas [20,21,22,23,24,25]
Community care plazas provide a comprehensive range of services covering health, welfare and other things, available to people of all ages, from babies to senior citizens.
Our services are available to everyone. Please feel free to come along and see what we have to offer.

■ Naka Ward Health and Welfare Center (Nakafuku) [19]
This center is used by organizations which are involved with health and welfare activities.
■ Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall (Naka Ward Community Hall) [1]
There is a large room here which can accommodate many people.
■ Naka International Lounge [3]
This is a consultation facility for non-Japanese residents. It also provides Japanese language classes and a volunteer dispatch service.
■ Kamidai Assembly Room [10]
This facility has meeting rooms and Japanese-style rooms which can also be used for sports.
Places where parents and children can play in a secure environment
■ Local Child Rearing Support Center (Nonbirinko) [13]
This space is for preschoolers and their guardians.
■ These facilities have a play room. [4,6,9]
■ These facilities hold consultations relating to child care [6,21,22,24] and parenting classes [5,9,20,21,22,24,25], etc.
Fun facilities for children
■ Kashiwaba Park casa de log de crianças (alojamento de carvalho) [12]
This is a fun place for children to come and play, from preschoolers (accompanied by a guardian) up to junior high school students.

Facilities where adults can come to enjoy pastimes and make new friends

This facility provides information and consultations on clubs, associations, and other similar things.

Facilities which support health and recreational pursuits among senior citizen

This is a recreational facility for people aged 60 years and over.
